Dear All,
Uda pada nyampe Nl yah? Congrats yah buat semua, smoga smuanya sehat. O ya aku mau nanya, Huygens kan memberikan monthy allowance 900 Euros, apakah kita nanti akan mendapat 900 Euros bersih tiap bulannya atau masih harus dipotong untuk Health insurance. Soalnya aku baca di websitenya Nuffic, 900 Euros itu including health insurance. Klo health insurance nya sendiri berapa yah?

Keep in touch,

*****
Dear All,

Untuk pertanyaan ROMEO PAPA, gw jg bingung, apakah 900 itu udah termasuk semua apa nggak. Kemarin gw ambil cash scholarship gw, dan gw dikasihnya 863.50 euro,

Asuransi (Delft pake IPS) sendiri itu 36.5 euro, apakah langsung dipotong? soalnya gw nggak dapet 900 euro dalam cash kemarin…. entar siangan sih gw mau nanya ke international officenya

Regards,

*****

Dear all,

900 euro termasuk insurance.

  • Legal aid (sewa pengacara)
  • Liability (kalo menyebabkan kerusakan, kecelakaan)
  • Travel insurance
  • etc

Aku sempet bingung tapi kelihatannya memang seperti itu, but I still can’t believe it.

Dear All,

Kemarin nanya2 tiket, kok aku dapetnya mahal banget ya? ngecek di smailing tour.

KLM USD 2240 PP berlaku untuk setahun

Malaysia Airlines USD 1144 one way berlaku setahun

kindly your reply asap, lagi bingung, kok tiketnya mahal =(

*****

Dear ROMEO,

Saya barusan cari tiket one-way ckg-schiphol 25 aug 2008 di cheaptickets.nl, berikut hasilnya:

Malaysia Airlines

(539,00 + 195,37tax)734,37 EUR

KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines

(703,00 + 140,00tax)843,00 EUR

KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines

(703,00 + 168,25tax)871,25 EUR

KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines

(703,00 + 181,46tax)884,46 EUR

British Airways

(765,00 + 224,56tax)989,56 EUR

British Airways

(798,00 + 224,56tax)1.022,56 EUR

Malaysia Airlines

(832,00 + 223,62tax)1.055,62 EUR

Malaysia Airlines

(832,00 + 153,91tax)985,91 EUR

mungkin mau coba juga lufthansa, air new zealand, cathay pacific, atau SQ.

mungkin alternatif lain cari tiket singapore-amsterdam

Good luck,

Dear ROMEO,

Best regards,

Dear ROMEO PAPA

Thanks ya for the information =)
aku udah hubungi Mas Febi dan Mbak Putri. Rencananya tanggal 31 ini diurusin sama adek aku.

*****

Dear ROMEO,
Iya sama2, semoga cepet beres yah. Aku berangkat tanggal 20 Agustus, kalo sama tanggalnya nanti kabar2i yah.

Regards,

*****

Dear all,
Temen2 ada yang ikut pre-departure briefing NESO? Bagi2 infonya yah..

*****

To ROMEO PAPA,

To make sure, coba check halaman paling belakang pasport kamu. Kalo itu masih alamat Indo, SELAMAT! ANDA HARUS MEMBAYAR FISKAL!

Further info, kalo mo ganti residence muste lewat ambassador Indo yang di The Netherlands.

OK deh…smoga infonya bermanfaat.

Cheers,

*****

To ROMEO PAPA:

*****

hi,

sorry gue ga gitu tau soal fiskal, btw kalo kalian udah disana, bisa ganti alamat di KBRI Den Haag, biar kalo balik ke indonesia mau keluar negeri lagi, ga bayar fiskal.

btw, gue lagi di indo, sebenernya mendadak sih, jadi gue udah telat daftar buat briefing NESO. anyway kalo mau contact:

thanks,

*****

Hey YANKEE,

Bagaimana Belanda? udah dingin blm?

*****

Hai sori baru bales.

Hahaha summer mah cuma nama donk.. sejak aku sampe sini panasnya cuma beberapa saat, sisanya angin n ujan. Klo malem mah dinginnya mirip winter-nya sydney. So better prepare jaket2 tebel, jas ujan n payung. Tapi ga tau yah klo di delft, klo wageningen kan di luar kota (alias kampung gitu) mgkn aja emang lebih dingin.

Akses internet mah cepet luar biasa n free!!! sekali klik juga langsung buka. Asyik d pokoknya hahaha…

To HOTEL:

Semoga masih keburu yah. Nelpon ke bandara kaga bakal pernah diangkat, aku dulu coba nelpon sekitar 30 kali gagal. Dulu sih aku beberapa hari sebelum berangkat samperin airport managernya minta tambahan bagasi, waktu itu dikasi max 30 kg. Tapi pas hari h bagasiku tetep over 5 kg hahaha.. untungnya dapet mas2 penjaga conter-nya baek lo dikasi gratis hahahaha.. So ntar pas check in minta tambahan bagasi dulu sama airport manager-nya, bilang aja student (moga2 dia ada di tempat) trus di counter pasang tampang rada memelas aja, it worked! Gut luck yah!!

Ok ntar contact2an lagi yah.

YANKEE

Hi All,

Pertama-tama, congratulation for your HSP Huygens Scholaraship.

Hope to see you all soon =)

Huygens 2008 Scholarship programme brought an international atmosphere to Madurodam on Saturday, 28 March 2009.

The Minister of Education Culture and Science, Dr. Ronald H.A. Plasterk opened the ceremony with a speech on the importance of studying abroad with emphasis on the values of  interaction with different cultures. Minister Plasterk also  shared his personal  experiences while studying abroad and explained that the lessons learned  still play a big role in his day to day life. Mrs Winie Sorgdrager, Chairperson of the Selection Committee continued by explaining her role in The Huygens Programme and all about what the Netherlands has to offer in the broad sense of the word.

The actual presentation of certificates followed with encouraging messages  by Mrs. Sorgdrager and Sander van der Eijnden, CEO Nuffic. The successful ceremony, powered by a variety of events was chaired by Mr. Joep Houterman, Executive Director Capacity Building and fellowships.

Social networking

Catalin Milea, Huygens 2008 Music student from Romania, provided the musical interlude with a spectacular solo performance. The jazz musician  also played background music with his band The New Sound Quartet Equazion composed of fellows and alumni. Their excellent performance was a visible proof  that Huygens scholarship is indeed granted to the most talented students from around the world.

After the ceremony all the students had the opportunity to visit  Madurodam park, also known as the miniature city. For most participants, a glimpse of the countries many attractions all in one place was undoubtedly an additional memorable experience.

The social networking continued during the extensive Dutch buffet allowing all the participants from over 45 countries  around the world, studying in different institutes in The Netherlands.  Business cards, diaries, foreign languages and exchange of multimedia information from mobile phones were omnipresent.

HSP certificaatuitreiking - bursalen

This network was also the target of the Huygens Talent Circle, founded in 2008 by nine Huygens alumni in the Netherlands as a platform for introducing Huygens alumni to each other.  A promotion stand was set up for recruiting new members in order to expand their worldwide network of Huygens Alumni. The Huygens Talent circle earned a lot of publicity at the event as most students were not aware of the initiative.

A once in a lifetime opportunity

For many students the Huygens scholarship programme offers a ‘Once in a lifetime opportunity.’ Without the scholarship, Studying in Holland would not have been possible for some students. They would otherwise be forced to follow other disciplines of study than their preferred choices because certain specializations are offered only in The Netherlands.

For PhD students it is attractive that Huygens scholarship programme offers a lot of flexibility in the direction a study takes and provides less or no strict demands on the research framework. Other funds give little space to unexpected changes occurring within a study. An additional advantage of the Huygens scholarship is that students may apply directly to the Netherlands without the mediation of country representatives in their home countries. This prevents possibilities for corruption via third parties in the application process.

About the Huygens Scholarship Programme

The prestigious HSP Huygens Programme is open to excellent students from countries all over the world to those  interested  in  following  or continuing  Masters or a PHD in The Netherlands. The students who receive the Huygens Scholarship can stay in The Netherlands for a period of time on the basis of the chosen discipline from a wide variety of  areas ranging from Art studies to Sciences. In 2008, 273 students were selected out of 1200 applications requests that were received.

An independent assessment committee chaired by Mrs. Winnie Sorgdrager, former Minister of Justice and currently a member of the Council of State, advises on the selection. The scholarship amounts, depending on the budget adding up to  thousands of euros.
