Your upcoming degree marks an important milestone in your personal development and forms the basis of a successful future career. It makes you part of a world-wide knowledge network comprising almost 50,000 TU Delft Alumni, both graduates and PhD candidates. Via this network, TU Delft offers you the opportunity to share knowledge with fellow-professionals and build up relevant contacts, both with other alumni and with us as your Alma Mater.

May special workshop series (*The following workshops have been designed as separate workshops, but together they offer a complete package of the process of looking for work, improving your CV, preparing for a job interview and doing an actual job interview.) 

Wednesday 12 May: ‘ Getting your career started’ (…everything you always wanted to know about working in the Netherlands + CV Check*)

Marloes Wichink Kruit from Import Expat and Intermediair will talk about being an international graduate in the Netherlands and what steps you can take to find a fitting position at a Dutch company. Additionally, with the knowledge obtained, there will be a CV check afternoon to find out how you can improve your CV. Max. workshop participants: 20. Time: 12:00-13:00

Wednesday 19 May: ‘ How to survive a job-interview (….by being prepared)

Marjoleine Marijt, communication trainer and coach of ‘ Het Verhaal’ ( ‘The Story’) will help you to prepare for a job interview and find out about competencies, what they are and, more importantly, to know your own and be able to express these. Max. workshop particpants:15. Time: 13:00-17:00

26 May: ‘ Job interviewing in practise (…by experiencing a mock-interview’)

During this workshop you will undergo an actual job-interview conducted by the international careers counsellor Ms. Rally Schwachofer and Ms. Madeleen Vuijck, program manager at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.  Max. workshop participants: 15.

Time: 09:00-17:00 ( upon registration, you will receive an official mock-interview invitation. The actual interview will be 15-20 minutes and 10 minutes for feedback)
