Subject: Approval MVV visa(30408)

Dear RAI,

Today we received a letter from the Immigration Office stating that your visa is ready. They have sent their approval to the Dutch Embassy or General Consulate in your country. Please contact them to make sure that your MVV visa is ready at the Dutch Embassy Jakarta, Indonesia. See for more information the website:http://www.mfa.nl/jak

If you want a multiple entry visa, please apply at the Embassy or General Consulate for a D+C type visa (a MVV visa together with a tourist (Schengen) visa for three months). If you go to the Embassy or General Consulate please take the attached insurance letter with you to make sure that you will receive your MVV visa. Unfortunately we can’t send the individual IPS insurance because it’s not available yet, we will receive it a few days before you arrive in the Netherlands from the IPS insurance company.

TU Delft has already paid for your MVV visa, so you don’t have to pay at the Dutch Embassy or General Consulate.

We would like to know in advance when you expect to arrive in the Netherlands and therefore kindly request to give us your complete flight details: Flight Company, flight number and date of arrival. As we have arranged scheduled days on 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August, we need this information in order to meet you at Schiphol airport.

Please send us your travel schedule: http://enquete.otb.tudelft.nl/nq.cfm?q=605983d1-1422-16d5-50cc-b705ec15373e before the 1st of August 2008, so we can inform you with the final instructions.

Subject: MVV visa Requirements

Dear Sir,

First, I would like to introduce myself first. My name is RAI, one of HSP Huygens recipients for 2008.

Today I have received email from TU Delft that stated that my visa (MVV) is ready (please see the email in the bottom part). I would like to know whether my visa is ready at the Dutch Embassy, Jakarta.

I have several questions for getting the visa. What are the documents that I need to bring? How long does it takes to apply for D+C visa? What is working time for visa application? Do I have to come by myself of can someone represents me?

I have tried to contact Consular Affairs and Visa secretariat (+62 21 524-1049) few moments ago, but no one is pick up the phone. I also contact your embassy number (+62-21-525-1515) but no answer too. Is there any way to reach the embassy?

Thanks

Subject: RE: MVV visa Requirements

Dear Mr. Ronald,
Thank you for your email.
This Embassy already received news from the Dutch Immigration.
You will have to apply in person to collect your MVV by making an appointment with our appointmentline 021-5271904 or by sending email to jak-visa@minbuza.nl
Documents needed: valid passport, photocopy of page 2-3 from your passport, 1 coloured passportphotograph 4×6, an applicationform is available at this Embassy.

When you arrive in Holland you will have to apply for your residence permit (VVR or VTV). This VVR will not directly be issued. According to the IND this process will take max. 6 months. Maybe for students it will be faster.
MVV D means during the process of your VVR you may not travel out and into Holland again. Single entry. This is only during the process of your VVR, if this permit is ready you are allowed to travel out and into Holland again whenever you like. Issue MVV will take 2 days.
MVV D+C, is the combination visa, advised by your school. This kind of visa means that during the process of your VVR you are allowed to travel out and into Holland again the first 3 months of your stay. So the C part will take 3 months, after that period the D part continues.
Issue of this kind of visa will take 8 workingdays from the moment we receive the application.
IMPORTANT! when collecting the visa after 8 workingdays you need to show us a travelinsurance which covers the Schengenarea (Europe) for the duration of 3 months (C-part) with minimal coverage € 30.000 or USD 45.000
An insurance only covering Holland is not valid. Please let this be clear, because sometimes the schools/university in Holland are not aware of this.

I  finally also want to inform you that this Embassy is open from Monday – Thursday 09:00-16:00, Friday we are open from 09:00 – 14:00.
Kind Regards,

Met vriendelijke groet,

Yayam Ruhuputy

Subject: Bicycles during registration days

Dear student,

In only a couple of weeks you will be arriving in the Netherlands to start your studies at TU Delft. Adapting to life in a foreign country might be difficult for you and therefore TU Delft has decided to literally help you on your way during the registration days (25-29 August).

If you have done some research on the Netherlands already you will have noticed that the bicycle is a very important mode of transport, especially for those who cannot afford or do not need a car, or only have to travel small distances. You may also have discovered that the bigger part of the cyclist community consists of students and that almost every student in Delft and indeed in the whole of the Netherlands owns a bicycle. It is fair to say a bike is a necessity for almost all students.

During the registration days TU Delft and Leuftink Bicycles will give you the opportunity to buy a bicycle. All the bicycles on display will be second hand and very affordable. You will also be able to buy accessories for your bike (e.g. lights, extra locks, etc). Overall, you can count on scoring a bike and everything you need to go with it for approximately € 150,-.

Of course this event will not be held merely for the profit of TU Delft or Leuftink Bicycles. Ten percent of the profit Leuftink Bicycles will make will be doubled by TU Delft and then donated to SOS Kinderdorpen, a charity fund that strives to give orphaned and abandoned children everywhere a loving home.

Sincerely,

International Office

Subject: Surat Rekomendasi NESO untuk Malaysia Airlines (Prosedur)

Dear Ms.Putri

Thanks and Regards,

Subject: Re: Approval MVV visa(30408) – Question about flight schedule deadlines

Dear Ismail  Yetim,

I would like to ask a question regarding the visa. My visa is scheduled to be finished 29th of July 2008 (today), but this morning I get phone call from Dutch Embassy in Jakarta that my visa is not ready yet and the collection visa date is delayed to Tuesday, August 5th 2008.

I would like to know is it possible to send my travel schedule after 1st of August 2008? Is it fine to book flight before my visa is collected? I have read not to book flight before your visa is collected.

Other question is about summer school, when it will be started?

Please send us your travel schedule: http://enquete.otb.tudelft.nl/nq.cfm?q=605983d1-1422-16d5-50cc-b705ec15373e before the 1st of August 2008, so we can inform you with the final instructions.
