Hi J

Jam 9 wkt jkt gmn?

Itu tergantung kamu..klo kamu butuh bgt beasiswanya…and if without it u can not go studying, yah mgkn lebih berat pergi segera mumpung ada beasiswa….krn susah tuk dapetin lagi..

Tapi yah kekurangannya kamu mesti sdikit kerja keras belajarnya, plus ninggalin kerjaan kamu..kamu terikat kontrak kan ? Tapi ada penalty ga kalo kamu putus kontrak?

Spt yg aku bilang, mulai dr semester 2 bukannya tidak mgkn..cmn yah kamu mesti extra effort tuk belajar n nyesuain diri….

Ninggalin kerjaan demi skolah lagi mang banyak dilemmanya…kynya sayang kan tuk ninggalin kerjaan yg ok? Aku ngerti kok..dulu aku jg dilemma..

Tapi aku pikir dulu kesempatan ksini itu jarang banget, apalagi bagi aku yg ga mgkn brgkt studi pakai biaya sendiri…trs skolah dsini selain menimba ilmu..jg aku bljr banyak ttg berbagai budaya…ttg hidup..which makes us a better person..jd being here is very positive for me…yah ibaratnya setiap pilihan ada trade-off nya…ada negative ada positivenya ..tergantung gmn kamu ngeliatnya…

Pas aku brgkt dulu jg berangkatnya penuh keraguan, takut ngambil keputusan yg salah..aku udah kerja 4 tahun dan aku suka bgt sm kerjaan aku….bahkan pas udah di psawat pun masih ga mantep rasanya..

Tapi begitu waktu berjalan..aku smakin brasa ngambil keputusan yg tepat…krn sebagai gantinya aku dapet pengalaman bnyk dsini..

Yah tapi itu smua tergantung kamu…coba kamu pikir2 dulu…tapi selagi kamu masih muda…knapa engga ambil tantangan yg lebih?

Banyak lho org yg pengen studi ksini tapi ga da kesempatan…so..really think about it, k? 😉

Goodluck!

Ok deh jam 9 malam hari minggu. thanks ya 🙂

Aku rencana awal emang sept tahun depan mulai kuliah S2, tp yg huygens tahap 2, kemrn emang coba2 aja, tp dapet….. rencananya daftar yg 1 februari sih… menurut elu bakal diblack list nggak? Butuh banget sih beasiswanya…..

Aku dulu pernah dapet dilema yg sama pas mau ke jepang, mau ngelepas status cumlaude aku demi 1 tahun exchange di jepang or enggak. waktu itu aku pilih exchange ke jpg dan emang ga rugi sih.

Background tentang pekerjaan aku.

Nggak tahu thn depan bisa dapet or nggak. Tp delft itu masih tujuan utama buat S2.

Thanks,

Ronald

Dear Ronald,

I hope you are doing fine.

As you now know it will not be possible to postpone the HSP scholarship to September 2008. I would like to point out that the courses for the programme that starts in February 2008 and ends in February 2010 has a different – and equivalent – schedule from the programme starting in September. In the attachment you will find the February schedule.

If you decide to come in February TU Delft will have to start your visa application very soon, so you will arrive on time. For this we will need the confirmation statement that is included in the admission letter.

If you decide to postpone your studies to September you will lose your scholarship. I am not sure how Huygens will respond to a second application for September.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

Toke

Subject: HSP Huygens Result

Dear Ms. Toke Hoek,

I’ve received email from Nuffic stated that I am successful in my application in HSP Huygens scholarship, on condition that I am admitted to my chosen programme of study and obtain a residence permit (where applicable) for the period of my study or research in the Netherlands.

I want to know, does it possible to ask for postpone for entering MSc Program (if I get accepted in semester 2 academic year 2007/2008)  to the Semester 1 academic year 2008/2009? If it is possible, do I need to submit another application for academic year 2008/2009?

The reason that I want to postpone my entry to MSc Management of Technology Program because currently I am bind with contract with my employer (Conoco Phillips Indonesia ) to accomplish my business apprentice training until  mid-2008. In my opinion the training itself is important for me to know the oil and gas business world and give me solid background before I study Management of Technology in TU Delft (one of the option in MoT is Energy). On the other hand, I can still secure my job in Conoco Phillips Indonesia upon my graduation from Netherlands .

Currently I need your advise about this condition.

Best Regards,

Ronald A. Indra

Dear Ms. Toke Hoek

Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. About the course that will started in February 2008, can I get information on how many students is accepted in second semester of academic year 2007/2008? I assume there is 30-40 students who started their study in September 2007, another assumption is about 10-20 students accepted in February 2008 (please correct me if I am wrong). Just want to know, are students who started in February 2008 will be completely separated from the students who started in September 2007 (in case of class, discussions groups, etc)?

I know it is a hard decision for me to make. Actually the first reason I’ve told you in the previous email that I am bind with contract with Conoco Phillips Indonesia to finish my business apprentice training until mid-2008 (so that I can take leave without pay and then securing my job until I finished my master degree at TU Delft), also may find interesting topic for thesis in fourth semester.

The second reason was about whether I am prepared or not to attend the course that begin in semester 2 (thank you for your attached file). I have chatted with Yenni about this. She gave me a lot of useful information.

I need to know, from TU Delft itself, it is possible for me to postpone my admission for September 2008? I have received email from MSc Admission, that I need to submit new application for academic year 2008-2010 if I wanted to postpone to September 2008. Will TU Delft proceed my application equally? If I asked (again) TU Delft for letter to HSP Huygens application to start in september 2008, will you give me one?

If I decided to withdraw from Huygens (for scholarship February 2008), in your opinion, does it affect my possibility to compete for Huygens again? I will also ask HSP Huygens team about it.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Regards,
Ronald

Subject: Postpone of Study (MSc in Management of Technology)

Dear TU Delft’s MSc Team,

I want to inform you that I am unable to start my study in TU Delft in February 2008 due to several reason. The primary reason that I want to postpone my entry to TU Delft’s MSc Management of Technology Program because currently I am still bound to a contract with my employer (Conoco Phillips Indonesia ) to accomplish my business apprentice training until  mid-2008. I’ve signed the contract by the end of September 2007 (after I have sent the HSP Huygens applications).

In my opinion the training itself is important for me to know the oil and gas business world and give me solid background before I study Management of Technology in TU Delft (one of the option in MoT is Energy). On the other hand, I can still secure my job in Conoco Phillips Indonesia upon my graduation from Netherlands.

I have informed Nuffic about this in email. Nuffic already accept my withdrawal from HSP Huygens Scholarship for intake February 2008. I already knew the consequence of postponing my study. I will re-apply for September 2008 (both for TU Delft and HSP Huygens Scholarship) intake because I am surely can start my study on September 2008.

Thank you for your attention

Regards,

RAI
