October 2005

I can say, it was the biggest motor show I’ve ever visited. The motor show in Jakarta is not as big as Tokyo. Beer said that this year will be big exhibition, next year will be smaller than this year, and two years later will be big too.
There were many booths, car and motorcycle companies from Japan, Germany, Sweden, England, South Korea, etc paraticipated. The most interesting is Toyota and Honda booths. Toyota has new type of car that is suitable if you have problem how to park your car in a small place and also one person car. Cool
At Honda there was theatre and simulator. We have to wait about 40 minutes to try simulator and see the presentation. Asimo was there too. The first time I saw Asimo in my life. Many people visited today’s show. We should choose another day. But it’s okay, because there were many beautiful cargirls :p Tired just want to sleep

Today’s Takaosan trip. We will meet Beer at Chofu station at 08.30. Only 5 JUSST students (Me, Colin, Dmitri, Julllieta and Nayeli) participated in this trip that is arranged by CIFA. We met the other CIFA members at 09.30 in front of Takaosanguchi station.
It was cold, but the other students said “atsui”. I have no idea. I and Nayeli counted how many stairs in one track. It was 233 stairs. There was a temple there, the same temple in Keio lines passnet, but the picture in passnet is more beautiful. In the picture the leaves are red, when we got there the leaves still green.
Nachte haltestelle -> Shinjuku. We need to sign up for our internet account. A crazy man  entered our train at chofu and keep shouting inside the train. Maybe he’s drunk, but I think he’s crazy. It need one months to activate the internet account.

When I woke up yesterday morning, The only thing in my mind is to figure out how the Tokyo Subway works. To get better understanding of it, is by travelling alone. I went to shinjuku station and bought one day ticket for 1000 yen. It’s quite expensive compare to Paris (about 400 yen)  and Berlin (about 400 yen). But, everything in Tokyo is expensive though.
The first test is to find Indonesian Embassy (somewhere between Meguro and Gotanda). Somehow I took the wrong train that is heading to Haneda Airport. I feel something strange when I can see the sky. Isn’t in one day ticket valid only for UNDERGROUND, how come there is sky??? but finally after 2 hours I found the embassy. Near the Gotanda station I ask an old lady where is Indonesian embassy, she show me the way to the embassy (she’s walking with me to find the embassy). She was very kind. Arigatou Gozaimasu.
After that Shimbashi -> Ginza (take a walk at that place, so many branded store) -> Roppongi -> Akihabara (I went to a bookstore and a small electronic shop) -> Ueno -> Asakusa (temple or shrine?) -> Shibuya (try to find Hachiko statue) -> Shinjuku (ask for an English manual at Sakuraya for my camera) -> Chofu.
I want to upload my photos in Japan, but I still haven’t found my card reader and how to move the photos from my cell phone to my laptop 😦
I have japanese languange quiz this morning. Another languange is waiting to be learned.
